We slept in our beds one last time, finished the last load of laundry, finished packing, had a meal with friends and prayed all before leaving for Ethiopia, to meet our son for the first time...

This is one of my favorite social report pictures of Samson. He is climbing the stairs at the care center. I love his curious but "I'm up to something" look on his face.

This is also a favorite picture of mine. I just could not believe this happy, chubby, dimple faced boy was my son. He is on the far left, standing next to his crib mate, during music time.
